2022 BMW 2 Series Review

The BMW 2 Series comes standard with a 2.0L BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder engine that offers different levels of power, depending on the configuration. The standard BMW 2 Series Coupe can generate up to 255 horsepower and 294 lb-ft of torque.

If you’re looking for extra traction and control on your drives, certain 2 Series models are also available with xDrive —the unique BMW intelligent all-wheel drivetrain. This system can monitor the road and your vehicle’s performance to sense wheelslip.

It will also optimize performance by adjusting torque and redirecting power toward the wheels that need it. In fact, the BMW 2 Series M240i xDrive Coupe can accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in just 4.1 seconds while remaining in total control.

The interior of your 2 Series will vary slightly depending on whether you choose to drive the Coupe or the Gran Coupe model. For instance, the Coupe model has seating for a maximum of four passengers, while the Gran Coupe has room for five.

While the 230i and the 228i models include all the standard features you’re looking for in a BMW 2 Series model, the M240i and the M235i come with a few additional features. The M models come with the available powertrain option, which ensures you’ll get a boost in speed and power.
